You can walk to Avlaki beach in 15-20 minutes through the olive groves from the house. With a car you have access to so many superb sand and stoney beaches within a similar timescale.
Take guided walks into the mountains, hire mountain bikes, walk through the stunning nature reserve of Erimitis to explore its hidden beaches.

Kassiopi
Kassiopi is one of the most popular tourist destinations in North East Corfu.
Unlike the west coast’s beach-focused resorts, Kassiopi is a bustling small town set around a scenic harbour and overlooked by the remains of a Byzantine castle.
Kassiopi is an old fishing village which has retained its charm. Although most of the buildings are new it has been developed sympathetically to Corfu’s traditional Ionian architecture.
It’s particularly pretty at night with the lights surrounding the horseshoe-shaped harbour reflecting in the water.
Kassiopi is popular with internationals, particularly a mature and cosmopolitan British crowd who favour its atmosphere, facilities, and good-quality restaurants over direct beach access.
The local Church of Panagia (Virgin Mary), on it's 1st Century site and 14 century building is a destination for pilgrims from around the world, and its most important day is August 15.
